Professional installation, servicing and repair across South West England. MCS certified and BUS grant registered.
An air source heat pump (ASHP) is a highly efficient heating system that extracts heat energy from the outside air — even in temperatures as low as -15°C — and uses it to heat your home and provide hot water.
Unlike a gas boiler that burns fuel to generate heat, a heat pump simply moves heat from one place to another. For every unit of electricity it uses, a modern ASHP can produce three to four units of heat, making it dramatically more efficient than any fossil-fuel alternative.
Heat pumps work at lower flow temperatures than traditional boilers, which makes them ideal for pairing with underfloor heating or oversized radiators — both of which we can design and install alongside your heat pump system.
With a coefficient of performance (CoP) of 3–4, you get significantly more heat per pound spent compared to gas or oil boilers, especially as electricity becomes greener and cheaper.
Heat pumps produce zero direct emissions. As the UK electricity grid becomes increasingly renewable, the carbon savings grow year on year.
Qualify for the government's £7,500 BUS grant towards your installation cost. We handle the application — no paperwork headache for you.
Heat pumps have very few moving parts and no combustion, meaning far less to go wrong. An annual service check is all that's typically required to keep your system running at peak performance.
A single ASHP system covers both your space heating and domestic hot water needs, replacing your boiler and cylinder with a cleaner, smarter solution.
We carry out full air source heat pump installations from initial site survey through to commissioning and handover. Our process starts with a detailed heat loss calculation for your property so we can size the system correctly — an oversized or undersized heat pump wastes money and comfort.
We work with leading manufacturers and will recommend the right unit for your home, budget and usage. All installations are MCS certified and fully compliant with building regulations.
Regular annual servicing keeps your heat pump running efficiently, extends its lifespan and ensures your warranty remains valid. Our service visits include a full system check, refrigerant pressure test, controls inspection and performance report.
We service all major brands including Mitsubishi, Daikin, Samsung, Vaillant and more. Service contracts are available for ongoing peace of mind.
If your heat pump is underperforming or has stopped working, our engineers can diagnose and repair the fault quickly. We carry common parts on the van to minimise downtime.
We repair heat pumps regardless of who originally installed them. Call us and we'll get you back up and running as fast as possible.
The outdoor unit draws air across a refrigerant-filled heat exchanger. Even cold air holds usable heat energy, which the refrigerant absorbs.
A compressor raises the pressure — and therefore the temperature — of the refrigerant, concentrating the captured heat energy to a usable level.
Heat is transferred to your home's central heating circuit and hot water cylinder, warming your radiators, underfloor heating and taps throughout the day.
The Boiler Upgrade Scheme (BUS) provides a £7,500 grant towards the cost of replacing an existing fossil-fuel boiler with an air source heat pump. The grant is applied directly as a discount off your installation price — you don't need to apply for it yourself or wait for a rebate.
As MCS certified installers, we are registered to apply for BUS grants on your behalf. We handle all the paperwork, eligibility checks and submission — there's nothing for you to do except enjoy the saving.
